  • Granada, Spain.

A living city is one that builds on old walls, integrates infrastructure with natural landscape, and relives its historic past. A dead city is one that has buried its identity by incessantly patching soil with concrete, planting pillars in place of trees, thereby creating oceans where there was once land and making the sky lost from view.

On our tour of Granada via Segway and Electric bikes, our tour guide brought us to this “special” bar (meaning an authentic and pleasurable place frequented by locals and not really tourists) that is set into the caves alongside the hillside and terrain of that part of Granada.
